Frances Hodge, Founder

My name is Frances Rose Hodge, and as a daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, alternative medicine has played an important part in every phase of my life. Born and raised in Hawaii, I watched my mother nurture 5 healthy children, applying time-tested home remedies with success. My most memorable experience with holistic medicine was when my own 5-year-old son was in the hospital for 5 days suffering from an undiagnosed illness. In desperation, I took him to the home of an elderly woman. She rubbed his stomach with warm oil while she prayed. After 30 minutes, my child was hungry, energetic and ready to go home.

After my children grew and while employed at a western medical center, my interest continued to develop and I began to study less invasive ways of treating common ailments. My pursuits led me to study and be certified in therapeutic massage, clinical sports massage, Hawaiian lomilomi massage, reflexology, acupressure, G-Jo acupressure, Acu-Jenesas, Acu-Yoga, Jin Shin Jyutsu and Aromatherapy. I hold teaching certifications.

After 20 years I retired and opened a holistic medical center offering massage, acu-yoga, acupressure and aromatherapy. The amazing results I have witnessed in my 20 years as a holistic practitioner encouraged me to share these natural approaches with those seeking to improve their health and well being using holistic methods.

My mission is twofold: First - to provide high quality, effective therapeutic aromatherapy products to improve the health and well being of those searching for balance using natural, renewable resources. Secondly - to direct the resources of Angel Care to non profit organizations that are dedicated to providing a safe haven for children in harm's way.
