Angel Care and Ohia Woman have a personal mission to help children who have found themselves amongst the growing and devastating homeless population. It is estimated that each year in the United States, 1.5 million children are forced into homelessness. These children are in desperate need of so many of the things essential to healthy and happy lives. It is the intent of Angel Care and Ohia Woman to help children in harm's way by identifying and providing specific physical and emotional supports to children so they can excel in life. We began our project locally, and hope to expand it globally. With your help, we can complete our mission one child at a time.
One of the many and significant challenges faced by homeless children is the lack of access to running water. Therefore, good hygiene is challenging for many of these children. Poor hygiene makes children more vulnerable to disease and infection and has a negative impact on their self-esteem. Angel Care and Ohia Woman have developed a means to accomplish access to good hygiene without the advantage of running water. After years of testing, we have developed chemical free wipes that possess highly effective personal cleaning and hygienic properties without the benefit of running water. These wipes contain 100% pure therapeutic grade essential oils that act as antibacterial, antifungal, antiseptic, antiviral, analgesic and expectorant agents to safely and naturally address health and hygiene issues. Angel Care's proprietary formula utilizes therapeutic oils that have calming and soothing effects, and oils that also enhance concentration and memory to aid children in their academic studies.
Our vision is to support the health and well-being of homeless children by providing a Clean Start wipes that will support the physical and emotional health of homeless children.
